Delicious cookies with oats and chocolate chips

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour (160 g)

  • 115g soft butter

  • 125g brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (1 g)

  • ½ tsp salt (3 g)

  • 1½ cups rolled oats (135 g)

  • 120g chocolate chips

Preparation

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F)

  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter and brown sugar until smooth

  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until the mixture is smooth and creamy

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing continuously

  6. Stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips, mixing well to combine

  7. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes

  8. Divide the dough into 35g portions and roll into round balls

  9. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between them for spreading

  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 13 minutes

  11. Allow the cookies to cool completely before eating to prevent crumbling

  • You can substitute the chocolate chips with white chocolate chips or chopped high-quality chocolate for variety
